Englishedu.co.uk
is beginning to take shape. I'm working with a number of practising
English teachers to help mould this site into something special. We
hope it will add to the existing support structures for teaching
and learning English Language & Literature in schools and
colleges.
Jack Todhunter has kindly agreed to help get Englishedu started with some Skills Guides for Reading and Writing.
Jack works as an English AST in a school in Rotherham whilst running the Personal Demons Project and writing scripts for school-based drama productions.
I observed a morning of Jack's lessons and his approach and respectful manner was addictive. His students' ability to respond to varied text types was phenomenal.
I'm very grateful to Jack for sharing his expertise with Englishedu.
